A citizen from Nigeria was convicted by a federal grand jury on Wednesday for reportedly unlawfully entering in the United States after being deported and for committing both tax and voter fraud.
The indictment states that Kevin Kunlay Williams voted in the elections of 2012 and 2016. He was deported from the U.S. in 1995 and reentered illegally in 1999.
This Nigerian undocumented alien reportedly became registered to vote in 2012 in local, state, and federal elections by saying he was a citizen of the U.S.
He probably stole public school workers’ identification information and used it to file more than 2000 fake tax returns, seeking $12 million in refunds.
Kevin also reportedly stole Electronic Filing Identification Numbers (EFINs), which enabled him to print refund checks to send to the IRS.
This illegal alien who is a St. Louis resident, has also seemed to illegally own a weapon. And now he faces charges for fraud, aggravated identity theft, voter fraud, illegal reentry, and illegally possessing a weapon.
